Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE Packs 4.65-inch Display

Samsung today announced a new Galaxy S II smartphone that boasts a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels, giving it a pixels per inch radio of 316. In addition to the HD display, the Galaxy S II HD LTE includes a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, support for Long Term Evolution and HSPA+, as well as Bluetooth 3.0-HS, Wi-Fi, and GPS. It also offers an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and flash, 2-megapixel user-facing camera, 16GB of on-board storage, near-field communications, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This device is targeting Asian markets. Samsung hasn't said if it will offer a variant of this phone in the U.S.

SamSUCK actually got it right!

Color me impressed!!!! Cause 800x480 resolution on a 4.5" screen is just retarded. This phone is the future. It would really sell on Verizon no question about it.

Wow

That sounds like a really nice phone, all the features you would expect. Its also a huge screen.
Somehow I have a feeling this might actually be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwhich. Probably not til March of next year though, just a guess.
