Kyocera Adds Analog, PTT to Slider

Kyocera Wireless today announced a new version of their Slider model that adds Push-To-Talk (PTT) and analog capabilities. The SE44 PTT is available for Alltel. Like Kyocera's 3250, the new model is compatible with the Alltel's Touch2Talk walkie-talkie service, which is based on Kodiak's RTX technology. The new model is available from Alltel for as low as $79.99.

Verizon Adding PTT to Select Phones Via New App
Verizon Wireless is offering a handful of its handsets the ability to include push-to-talk, walkie-talkie features. The service, called Push To Talk Plus, is available to smartphones including the Motorola Droid Maxx, Samsung Galaxy S5, and Casio G'zOne Commando beginning today.
