ITC to Hear More Apple Complaints Against HTC

The U.S International Trade Commission today indicated that it will listen to Apple's patent-related complaints against rival HTC. Apple alleges that HTC is violating five of its patents pertaining to smartphones. The ITC ruled in June that HTC is violating two different Apple patents. With HTC already found in violation, it is possible the ITC can issue an injunction blocking HTC from importing certain handsets into the U.S. HTC plans to challenge the ITC's June decision. It has yet to comment on the newer complaints.
