Just like the thunderbolt

I'm willing to bet this phone will be like the thunderbolt. People couldn't wait (including myself) for it to come out. It was delayed several times and when it finally came out there were hardly any lines at the stores and if came with only HALF of the features that were promised. Here it is July and there's no gingerbread update, no skype, and it's like finding a needle in a haystack for extended battery cases. This phone works better since the last update but it still falls behind the other htc phones. So as far as this phone being a big hit I'm not going to hold my breath.
you can get skype to work by sideloading the skype app directly from HTC, btw.

I'm not exactly sure how the thunderbolt falls behind the other HTC phones that Verizon offers, or for comparable phones on other carriers..
I think Motorola is just building up a buzz for this device. I work for Verizon Wireless and I've had a lot of customers cone in looking to upgrade or even switch carries to get this device, I heard that Moto scrapped it all together because of softwa...

I give up

Considering this will have a $299 price tag for the VZW crapware plus Advanced Blur (or whatever the hell they are calling it) - I now officially pass. I picked up the T-Bolt instead. It may be "old" but its on the market and has 4G. Moto would rather play games with release dates than getting the product to market with the customers. The only phone worth paying the $299 for was the OG Droid because it was vanilla Android AND no crapware.
Supposedly Motorola delayed the Bionic to make improvements. Sort ofbjives my curiosity as to what these improvements are that caused it to be at least 3-4 months late.
I'm pretty sure it was with some issues that Verizon Wireless had with Moto's 2.3 Gingerbread. $299 is a LOT to pay and with their data plans that's a lot to dole out.....

Lame

They are just trying to take some sales away from the iphon5, which it wont work. Everyone knows motorola sucks.
Not. The Droid Bionic is not one of the phones that apple feels violates its patents, and the iphone 5 is yet unreleased. Who knows if the iPhone 5 will even have LTE. Are you sure?

With Android still increasing it's market share, and apple s...

Well, an alternative might be for all the world phone makers to get together and a...
