Google Maps 5.8 for Android Adds Photo Uploads

Google today made version 5.8 of Google Maps available to Android handsets. The new version of Maps adds a number of features, including the ability to upload photos for places, support for descriptive terms in My Places, faster access to user-defined Places and starred searches, and a new check-in tool within Maps for Android. Google Maps for Android 5.8 is available to handsets running Android 2.1 and up.

Google Maps Update 5.8

Maybe ... just maybe, Google will one day make it easy to rename your starred map items from the phone.
WITH GOOGLE MAPS U CAN ADD A PICTURE OF THE PLACE U WERE IN AND TAG IT??? AND IF SO.. CAN U SHARE THEM??
