Nokia Updates Series 40 Foursquare App

Nokia today announced an update for the Series 40 version of Foursquare. The revised application now uses Nokia Maps to display user location and integrates more seamlessly with Maps. Foursquare 2.0 for Series 40 also adds the Explore function, which shows nearby venues that your friends have visited, and the specials feature that reveals nearby deals. The app now also lets users add locations to Foursquare. Nokia points out that the availability of the application has been expanded to "most countries" where Series 40 handsets are sold. The application is free to download.
