Simple Mobile Adds Unlimited 2G Data to $50 Plan
Simple Mobile recently announced a new prepaid plan. The new Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Text, and Web plan nixes the 200MB limit on data and raises it to unlimited data at 2G speeds. Customers who want access to Simple Mobile's faster network can choose the $60 plan, which offers unlimited talk, text, and 4G web. Simple is also now offering a $5 credit toward international calls with new SIM card activations. Simple Mobile uses a "bring your own phone" business model and allows customers to use whatever GSM-based device they like. Simple Mobile runs on T-Mobile USA's network.
T-Mobile Increases Family Plan Limit to 10 Lines
T-Mobile today expanded the flexibility of its family plan from a maximum of five lines per plan to a maximum of 10 lines per plan. T-Mobile Simple Choice subscribers can add new lines to their plan for $10 each after the second subscriber.

T-Mobile today announced a new option for subscribers of its Simple Starter plans. The plan already offers unlimited talk/text and 500MB of data for $40 per month.
T-Mobile to Squelch Data Speeds of Terms Violators
T-Mobile has confirmed reports that it may throttle down the data speeds of customers who it says violate the company's terms of service. "A very small number of our customers are misusing their Simple Choice Unlimited data service in violation of their rate plan and terms and conditions by bypassing the default tethering feature or engaging in peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing," said T-Mobile in a statement provided to FierceWireless.
Verizon Debuts $80 Unlimited Plan for Prepaid Service
Verizon Wireless today added an unlimited data option to its series of prepaid plans. According to Verizon's web site, the new $80 plan includes unlimited high-speed service without a contract, though video is capped at 480p and prepaid customers may see slower speeds when the network is congested.
