Samsung Brings Two Affordable Androids to T-Mobile
Samsung and T-Mobile USA today announced two new budget-friendly Android phones. Both will be available this month for under $100, with contract and after rebate.
- Gravity Smart: Much like the Sidekick, this reboot of the Gravity series switches to Android. Features include slide-out keyboard, 3-megapixel camera, Group Text, and Android 2.2 (Froyo). It will sell for $70 after $50 mail-in rebate and with two-year contract.
- Exhibit 4G: Sports a 1 GHz processor and 21 Mbps HPSPA+ data for hardware speed, plus Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Other features include 3-megapixel main camera plus front camera. It will sell for $80 after $50 mail-in rebate and with two-year contract.

Sprint Kicks Off Sales of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime On July 10
Sprint today announced that it will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime on July 10. The phone has a 5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2,600mAh battery.
T-Mobile and MetroPCS Announce the LG Aristo
T-Mobile and MetroPCS both plan to sell the LG Aristo starting later this month. The handset is an entry-level device running Android 7 Nougat.
T-Mobile and MetroPCS to Sell Samsung Galaxy On5
T-Mobile today said it and its prepaid brand MetroPCS will kick off sales of the Samsung Galaxy On5 later this month. The On5 is an inexpensive Android smartphone with a 5-inch 720p HD display, 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front camera.
Samsung Brings Infinity Displays to Its Galaxy A6 Mid-Range Phones
Samsung today announced the Galaxy A6 and A6+, mid-range phones that for the first time adopt its Infinity Display. The smaller A6 has a 5.6-inch screen with 1,480 by 720 pixels and the larger A6+ has a 6-inch screen with 2,220 by 1,080 pixels, giving them each an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
