Google's ex-CEO Eric Schmidt today revealed that its Google Offers service, which presents users with Groupon-like daily deals, will go live first in Portland, Ore., on June 1. San Francisco and New York City will launch this summer.

Google Maps to Assess How Long It Will Take to Find Parking
Google today added a tool to Google Maps that helps people gauge how difficult parking will be when they arrive at their destination. Google will rate parking difficulty across 25 metro regions in the U.S., including major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Seattle, and Atlanta.
Google to Discontinue Wallet Debit Card
Google has begun informing owners of the Google Wallet Card that it will cease supporting the card come June 30. The Wallet Card was initially paired with the Google Wallet app for mobile payments, but Google transitioned its mobile payment service away from Google Wallet to Android Pay.
