Samsung today joined Siemens and Nokia in announcing new GSM camera phones with megapixel resolution. The SGH-P730 sports a unique "swing" twisting clamshell design. The phone is also the first to record video at QVGA resolution (up to 100 minutes). Other features include a 262,000-color main display, full-color OLED outer display, MP3 playback, 64 MB built-in memory, and an RS-MMC memory card slot. The SGH-P730 is expected to be available in the 3rd quarter. The company also announced plans to introduce a 2-megapixel camera phone for Europe by the end of the year.
