Twitter Updates Mobile Web Client

Twitter recently rolled out a revision to the mobile version of Twitter.com. The new web app, which targets touch devices, is meant to make the mobile web experience more closely match that of the experience users might find in full-fledged applications. Twitter used HTML5 to make the web app work, which allows users to scroll through their timelines, see their @replies, DMs, as well as perform searches and view trending topics. Twitter is making the new web app available to a small set of iPhone users to start, and will expand it to a wider user base across platforms over time.
