ARM today announced that LG Electronics has agreed to license technology related to its ARM Cortex-A15 and A9 multi-core processors as well as the ARM Mali-T604 and CoreLink graphical processing units. LG is licensing the technology so that it may better compete with its rivals, many of which develop their own system-on-a-chip processors. LG will put ARMs intellectual property to work in a range of its products, including mobile phones, tablets, and more. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.

I noticed on engadget that LG is only licensing the single chip design (for the A9 and A15) and they will also be licensing the ARM GPU MALI-T604. See the article here.
