Bolt Browser Gains Local Search Powers

Bitstream today announced that its Bolt browser can now provide local search results. In February, Bolt was updated to support geo-location services. The new local search functionality ties that in with Bitstream's partnership with xAD, which is providing the search results to users of the Bolt browser. Local search results are available from the browser's built-in search bar. The updated version of Bolt is available initially in the U.S., though Bitstream hopes to expand to other markets soon. Bolt works with most Java-based phones, including BlackBerries.
