Two-Sided LCD Developed for Phones

Mitsubishi this week announced a new two-sided LCD display technology, designed to replace the two displays found in most clamshell-style mobile phones. The innovation is expected to reduce cost, size, and weight for such phones. One version of the technology can display same image correctly on both sides simultaneously, by alternating directional sidelights 120 times per second.
