HTC and T-Mobile have released Android 2.2 Froyo for the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide. In addition to the standard new Froyo features, it also includes T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling app and a number of bug fixes. The application is available for download directly from HTC, and must be installed via a Windows computer.

Better late then never

Guess its about time for people to be looking for an upgrade and they decide to do this? not sure wtf is going on with the phone makers and carriers. I think if they are going to upgrade a phone it should be done in a timely manner. If not then dont update the phones. cyanogen has 2.3 running on this phone and htc/tmo just now decide to put 2.2 on it. maybe these manufactures and carriers need to hire cyanogen to handle their upgrades.

T-Mobile doesnt do updates OTA?...

Boy is that weird! Someone has to go through all that hassle! OTA is so, so easy.
The other myTouch phones have all been OTA upgrades. This is the only exception. And considering the install issues, I can't say I'm upset at this decision.
I love you, I love t-mobile.
