HTC has dropped the price of the HTC 10 for the rest of the month. The phone now costs $599 when purchased from HTC's web site, a cut of $100.
Milk Studios Sues Samsung for Trademark Violation
Milk Studios has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Samsung, which it says "intentionally, willfully, and knowingly" used the Milk name despite a business partnership with Milk Studios. Samsung launched Milk Music, a music-streaming service, earlier this year and followed it up just this month with Milk Video.

Apple is facing a massive judgment in a patent complaint concerning processors found in the iPhone and iPad. A jury in Madison, Wisconsin, found Apple guilty of using a patent owned by the University of Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) without permission.
Consumers Drop Lawsuit Over Google Android Apps
Two consumers have withdrawn a lawsuit filed against Google in which they claimed the OS-maker artificially inflated smartphone prices by requiring phone manufacturers to include its apps. The class action lawsuit was filed in May 2014.
