AT&T Announces Unlimited Calling to Any Mobile
AT&T today announced a new calling program called Any Mobile Number. The new plan allows AT&T subscribers to make unlimited voice calls to any mobile number in the U.S., regardless of network operator. Any Mobile Number goes into effect this Thursday, and requires an existing voice plan and the $20/month unlimited messaging plan. Customers may sign up for the plan starting February 10.
MetroPCS Wins Mexico Calling Plan of Its Own
MetroPCS today revealed a new plan for making calls to Mexico. The Mexico Unlimited package borrows a page from T-Mobile's Mobile Without Borders plan and offers unlimited calling and messaging to mobile and landlines in Mexico.
Cricket Expands Calling Plans to Central, South America
Cricket Wireless today made more calling and messaging add-on plans available to a greater number of countries throughout Central and South America. For $10 per month, Cricket customers can add Columbia, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic to their plan.
AT&T Drops Unlimited Plan to $80 Per Month
AT&T has adjusted the pricing of its unlimited service and also debuted a number of discounts and deals on its television services. To start, AT&T's Unlimited Plus Enhanced plan has dropped from $90 per month for the first line to $80 per month.
AT&T to Raise Unlimited Plan Pricing by $5 in February
AT&T today confirmed reports that it plans to increase the cost of its old, grandfathered unlimited plan early next year. The rate will change from $30 per month to $35 per month, and marks the first increase this plan has seen in seven years.
