Google Introduces Blogger App for Android
Google recently made a new application available to the Android platform that allows Android users to create blog posts for their Blogger account directly from their phone. The application offers a wide range of tools, including the ability to compose, post or save entries; manage multiple accounts and blogs; add photos to entries from the camera or gallery; add location data; and view any drafts or published posts. The application is a free download from the Android Market. Google said it hopes to expand the app's availability to other platforms in the near future.
Instagram Adds More Options for Sharing Multiple Photos
Instagram today said people can now share portrait or landscape photos when assembling posts with multiple shots. Before today, all the photos shared in a single post were restricted to the square format.
Google Contacts Gains More Editing Powers
Google recently updated the Contacts application for select Android devices and made it easier to edit contact details. Most significantly, Google expanded the app's availability from just Marshmallow to Lollipop.
Yahoo Mail Now Supports Multiple Accounts
Yahoo today rolled out a new version of its Mail application for the iPhone and added the ability to use multiple email accounts. The app now supports Yahoo, Outlook, and AOL email services and can be used to manage a handful of accounts from a single inbox.
Google Further Automates Photos' Creative Powers
Google is improving its Google Photos service by boosting the product's ability to automatically create and annotate albums. Google says Photos will suggest new albums, featuring the best shots, after events/trips are synced online.
