Facebook Delays Phone Number Sharing Feature
Late last week, Facebook announced upcoming changes to how users share their personal data. Facebook wanted to make it easier for people to share their mobile phone numbers and street addresses with third-party sites. Though users must opt into this feature, the tools Facebook had in place were not very clear to use. Feedback Facebook received over the weekend prompted it to announce this morning that it is putting the feature on hold while revamping the tools. Users are cautioned to be careful when choosing how and with whom to share personal data.

Facebook said beginning today people do not have to have a Facebook account to use Facebook Messenger. When first loading the app, users will have the option of signing in with a phone number rather than their Facebook account.
Facebook Adds Fun Tools to Photo Uploader for iOS
Facebook has updated the photo uploader in its iOS app and given users the ability to make creative edits as they go. The new uploader lets people preview and apply filters by swiping left and right, easily add text, and plaster images with stickers from the Facebook sticker store.
