Froyo Headed to HTC myTouch 3G Fender Edition
T-Mobile and HTC will deliver Android 2.2 Froyo to the myTouch 3G 3.5mm Edition and the myTouch 3G Fender Edition starting on January 12. T-Mobile expects the update to take until February 1 to reach all customers. Android 2.2 will add many new features to both devices, including better performance, improved Gmail, support for multiple accounts, and Microsoft Exchange compatibility.
Gmail for Android Gains Microsoft Exchange Support
Google today said the global Android Gmail app is set to add support for Microsoft Exchange. "Whether you're on Google Apps or Exchange, you can use the Gmail app on any Android device to send and receive mail," said Google in a blog post.
