Acer Brings Two Android Phones Into the Fold
Acer today announced two new Android handsets, the Liquid Mini and the beTouch E210. Both devices run Android 2.2 Froyo and are headed to the U.K. market later this year.
- Liquid Mini: This slab-style handset has a 3.2-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels. It has a 600MHz processor on board along with a 5 megapixel camera. It also includes WI-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and FM radios, and supports DLNA media sharing.
- beTouch E210: This QWERTY-equipped smartphone has a portrait touch display that measures 2.6 inches and has 320 x 240 pixels. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
LG V10 Boasts Second Screen, Dual Front Cameras
LG announced the V10, a flagship smartphone that includes a ticker display, double cameras, and a more rugged design than some of LG's previous handsets. The main screen measures 5.7 inches and has quad HD resolution, while the secondary display, which sits above the main one, measures 2.1 inches and has 1040 x 160 pixels.
Acer Liquid M330 Runs Windows 10 for $100
Microsoft recently added the Acer Liquid M330, a low-cost handset running Windows 10 Mobile, to its U.S. web store.
Acer's Liquid Zest Plus Packs 5,000mAh Battery
Acer today provided a preview of the Liquid Zest Plus, an Android phone that features a 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge support that provides "days" of uptime. Other than the battery, the Liquid Zest Plus includes an average feature set, including a 5.5-inch HD screen, MediaTek processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage.
Acer Says Liquid Zest Plus to Reach US In July
Acer recently revealed that the Liquid Zest Plus smartphone will go on sale in the U.S. for $199 beginning in July.
