Cricket Delays Muve Music Launch
Cricket has pushed back the launch of its unlimited Muve Music plan from the first week of January to some unspecified time later this month. Cricket was originally planning to launch the new plan and service in the Las Vegas market during CES. Cricket spokesperson Greg Lund indicated, however, that Cricket is still ironing out some software bugs and the service won't be ready in time.

Deezer this week said its music streaming service will soon be available for streaming on the Google Home smart speaker. Deezer competes with Spotify, Google Play Music, Apple Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Cricket Wireless customers can score more data on the prepaid carrier's most popular plan without raising their rates. Cricket's existing $50 service plan is improving from 5 GB of LTE data each month to 8 GB of LTE data starting today.
Cricket Offering Free Service to Switchers
Cricket today said new customers who switch to Cricket from T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Sprint, Boost, and other competitors will receive one free month of service after completing two months of service. In order to qualify, customers must subscribe to a $50 or $60 rate plan.
