Verizon: No Recall on Moto Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global

Responding to reports that Best Buy stores have yanked stock of the Motorola Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global due to a product recall, Verizon Wireless said that's not the case. Spokesperson Brenda Raney said in an email to Phone Scoop, "We can’t speak for Best Buy -- but both the Droid Pro or the Droid 2 Global are popular sellers. How they manage their inventory is their business but there are no recalls on those devices." Several Best Buy retail locations contacted by Phone Scoop reported that they pulled the devices from store shelves today for an unknown reason. Consumers interested in the Droid Pro or Droid 2 Global can find them elsewhere.
