AT&T has responded to reports that its Windows Phone 7 devices will only be available in retail stores when they launch on November 8. An AT&T store manager Tweeted mistaken information on Thursday about the availability of WP7 smartphones. May did confirm that customers interested in Windows Phone 7 handsets cannot pre-order them. May said that WP7 smartphones will be available on a first-come first-served basis at AT&T's retail stores.
