Nokia Debuts MeeGo Version 1.1 for the N900
Nokia has published version 1.1 of its forthcoming MeeGo platform for the N900 device. The N900 is shipped with a Maemo operating system, but users can install both platforms on the N900 and boot from either operating system. Nokia's MeeGo platform is the combined product derived from its Maemo platform and Intel's Moblin platform, both of which are based on Linux.

The 1200 consumes just 79 square millimeters of space and relies on a 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 processor core with an integrated Cat-M1, NB1, and eGPRS multi-mode modem.

As for me, I might just wait a bit before trying out Meego. I don't think 1.1 is quite up to snuff...
