Virgin Debuts New payLo Plan and New Handset

Virgin Mobile USA today announced a new payLo pre-paid plan on conjunction with the launch of the Kyocera 2300 handset. The new plan costs $30 per month, and offers 1500 voice minutes, 500 SMS/MMS/IM messages, and 10MB of data. The Kyocera 2300 is a candybar-style device with a 2.2-inch color display, full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1. The 2300 costs $70 and will be available starting later this month.

Didn't they already launch the 2300 handset?

This is the Loft, correct? Not a new handset...was launched many months ago. I guess it is new to the PayLo plans, though. Boring!

Can't they add a 3G handset? That's when it would get really competitive.
