Swype Now Available for Symbian^3 Devices
Swype has made a version of its predictive text entry software available for devices based on Symbian^3. To start, it is only compatible with S^3 devices' landscape QWERTY keyboards. Portrait keyboard support is still being developed.
Apple to Support Third-Party Keyboards within iOS 8
Apple today said that iOS 8 will support third-party keyboards, such as Swype, through the new extensibility feature of the App Store. Third-party keyboards will function in all apps system-wide if the users permits it.

Google today made available a new keyboard for Android devices that allows people to handwrite text in 82 languages rather than type on the keys. According to Google, the main features allow for printed and script handwriting recognition, voice input, and emoji support.
