Verizon Planning BlackBerry Updates for Today
Verizon Wireless today said that it will be pushing out over-the-air software updates to the BlackBerry 9650 Bold, 9630 Tour, and 8530 Curve. The updates will begin at 6PM Eastern time. Verizon notes that the updates will provide "enhancements" for each device. According to the specific support documents for each phone, there are a wide number of improvements being made. It should be noted that the BlackBerry Bold 9650, in particular, is not being updated to BlackBerry OS6 yet.
