Virgin Lands Samsung Intercept as First Android Phone

Virgin Mobile USA announced via its Facebook page today that it will offer the Samsung Intercept as its first Android device. Virgin didn't announce pricing or availabilty, but indicated that more information would be shared soon.

ugh

I had a few Virgin mobile phones back in the day, the cripple the piss out of them. I wonder how bad they'll lock down and cripple android on these phones.
