Fring rolled out an updated offering today called fringOut. The new service allows fring users to make low-cost calls to landlines and mobile phones around the world for rates as low as 1 cent per minute. The new feature joins fring's standard offering of internet-based video calling and chatting. The application integrates with the native contact application. Fring users can take advantage of SIP, GSM, and fringOut to reach family and friends. Fring says that fringOut will first be available to S60 based devices, but fringOut will support Android and the iPhone soon. The application is free to download.
