Verizon Wireless today announced that it is pushing a new over-the-air update to the original motorola Droid. The new software will allow Droid owners to find and download the Adobe Flash PLayer Mobile 10.1 from the Android Market. Adobe's Flash Player Mobile 10.1 will give the Droid access to Flash content on web sites, as well as Flash-based games. The software update and Adobe Flash Player Mobile 10.1 are free.

Just now? 3wks after I put 2.2 on my Droid

Talk about procrastination! I don't know why this wasn't just included in the 2.2 update.

Btw, Flash is a whopping 12+mb file!!! And it can't be moved to sd neither!
Yeah, but at least you can! I have the Droid Redheaded-Stepchild (aka Incredible) and we don't even HAVE 2.2 yet, and therefore no Flash, apps on SD, etc etc etc.

And before the "rooters" start, I don't want to fool with doing that, I just want VZ...
I don't even have the new 2.2 update yet! It's just so frusterating for certain people to have the update, and only a fraction of those people have Flash. Here it is, Saturday August the 28th and I keep hearing "The update is out" and "Flash is out"...
