Verizon Wireless today formally announced the ZTE Salute, its first handset from Chinese manufacturer ZTE. Stand-out features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, VZ Navigator and Verizon's Social Beat social networking application. The Salute is a vertical slider with standard numerical keypad. It is available online and at Verizon Wireless retail stores for $20 after mail-in rebate with a new contract. The ZTE was outed by online retailer WireFly earlier this week.

This is the 2nd time this thing has been announced on Phone Scoop!

I don't get why it's necessary to post the same headline twice! 👿

It's just that exciting!
One is a 'coming soon' the other is making it official. Before they didn't have the link to VZW's Press Release, this time, they do. 😁

1.3 Megapixel camera is a stand-out feature?

"Stand-out features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, VZ Navigator and Verizon's Social Beat social networking application."

I think someone said it that way for a laugh. I started cracking up, it is all about how they said it 'Stand out'...

He must was joking because 1.3 mp cameras are so 2004.
