Verizon Wireless Officially Announces Its First ZTE Phone
Verizon Wireless today formally announced the ZTE Salute, its first handset from Chinese manufacturer ZTE. Stand-out features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, VZ Navigator and Verizon's Social Beat social networking application. The Salute is a vertical slider with standard numerical keypad. It is available online and at Verizon Wireless retail stores for $20 after mail-in rebate with a new contract. The ZTE was outed by online retailer WireFly earlier this week.
ZTE Blade Vantage Costs Just $50 from Verizon
ZTE and Verizon Wireless today announced the Blade Vantage, an inexpensive entry-level device for Verizon's pre-paid service. The Vantage includes a 5-inch screen with 854 by 480 pixels and it is powered by a 1.1 GHz, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
