Verizon Wireless has begun pushing the Android 2.2 Froyo update out to the Motorola Droid en masse. Users will be notified when the update hits their handset. Similarly, Sprint is pushing webOS 1.4.5 out to the Palm Pre and Pixi. The webOS 1.4.5 corrects some minor bugs, and also offers a few new features. Once updated to webOS 1.4.5, Palm Pre users will be able to send video messages directly from the video application, more easily trim videos down to MMS length, and run new games developed through the webOS PDK.

Pushed back til September?

I was just told by a couple of people that the Droid update has now been pushed back til September because of some bugs in the update. Can anyone confirm this?
