Verizon Adds mSpot Radio to App Offering

Verizon Wireless today announced that it is offering the mSpot streaming radio service to its customers. mSpot provides access to over 300 different internet radio stations. which are streamed to the handset via Verizon's 3G network. The application is free, but the service cost $5.50 per month. It is available to most Verizon Wireless feature phones.

The real question, does it use your data allowance?

or is it like vcast where the cost of service covers the data used.
I need your help bad! I'm writing you right now using Skyfire because my Droids default web browser *will not* load Phone Scoop! It will load any other site though. When I recieve replies in my Gmail and click on the link the default browser launches ...

And when it comes to Verizon I don't know what the word 'today' means. Cause of what I went through with the Vcast video app. The announcement and the availability of the app should coincide, duh!

So wow, 300 internet stations for $5.50! In what ways does this differ from Google Listen/Stitcher, Slacker?
This is for feature phones. like the env3, etc. It's not meant for phones like the droid. Kind of like how you have an amazing free visual voicemail options (Google voice, or the other options on marketplace) but if a feature phone wants it, they n...
