Verizon Letting More Phones Run FiOS Mobile Apps
Verizon Wireless today announced the expanded availability of its FiOS mobile applications. Starting immediately, the Droid Eris, Droid Incredible and TouchPro2 from HTC can all download and run the FiOS TV Mobile Remote application. This app allows the devices to act as remote controls for their FiOS TVs. Additionally, Verizon Wireless said that its Remote DVR Manager application now works on over 50 Verizon Wireless handsets The Remote DVR Manager lets Verizon Wireless customers control their FiOS DVR, check the Guide, schedule recordings and delete old items. Both applications are free to download.

Specifically, Fios customers can use the Fios Mobile app on their smartphones and tablets to watch 140 channels of live television, movies, and stored DVR content.
Verizon to Let Prepaid Customers Manage their Accounts Through My Verizon App
Verizon Wireless today said its prepaid customers will soon have access to the My Verizon account management tool. Beginning June 28, prepaid customers can download and use My Verizon to pay bills, set up auto-pay, add data, and perform other account-related tasks.
Verizon Brings DVR Streaming to FiOS App
Verizon today said some customers can now stream the content from their DVR to their phone, tablet, or PC no matter where they are. The new feature is available to customers who subscribe to Verizon's FiOS Quantum TV and FiOS Internet service.
