U.S. Cellular Outs Second Android Device via Facebook
U.S. Cellular has revealed what its second Android device will be through its Facebook account. U.S. Cellular didn't provide many details about the device, but noted that it is the Samsung r880 Acclaim. It features a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.1 and a 3.2" HVGA screen. it will be available at some point in July.
Consumer Cellular Adds Moto G4 and G4 Play to Its Device Roster
Consumer Cellular today added the Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play to its lineup of Android handsets. Consumer Cellular is selling the G4 for $150 and the G4 Play for $100.
Facebook Messenger Brings SMS Back to Android App
Facebook today said Facebook Messenger users will once again be able to send SMS messages — as long as they're running Android. Essentially, Android users can set Messenger as the default SMS app, which will route all SMS messages and conversations through Messenger rather than any other SMS apps that may be installed on the device.
Consumer Cellular Launches Doro 824 Smartphone
Consumer Cellular today announced the Doro 824 SmartEasy handset, an Android phone that features a user interface simplified for senior users. The 824 is based on Android 5.1, but trades in the typical home screen experience for an action-based menu for sending messages, making calls, browsing the web, and so on.
Facebook Messenger No Longer Requires Facebook Account
Facebook said beginning today people do not have to have a Facebook account to use Facebook Messenger. When first loading the app, users will have the option of signing in with a phone number rather than their Facebook account.

Not trying to been mean. But, it is amazing that PS can put info out before posting on other carriers. And this one took a week to do it. But, not for USCC.
