On its Web site home page, Viigo today announced that the company has become part of RIM. The home page announcement specifically says that Viigo will continue development for the BlackBerry platform, but makes no mention of Windows Mobile, for which Viigo also makes a content delivery solution. Mark Ruddock, CEO of Viigo, in a statement on the Web site says that the Viigo app will remain in the BlackBerry App World, but offers no further insight into the company's plans as part of the BlackBerry team.
