Qualcomm to Integrate Opera Browsers into BREW

Today Qualcomm and Opera announced that Qualcomm will integrate both Opera Mini 5 and Opera Mobile 10 into the BREW Mobile Platform. The companies believe the addition of Opera's browser to the BREW platform will allow handset makers and network operators to offer devices with a richer feature set. In the U.S., Verizon Wireless has offered BREW-based handsets for years. AT&T has also committed to bringing BREW handsets to market. Neither Qualcomm no Opera said which devices would be the first to include Opera or when those devices would become available.
