Today Samsung announced that it is offering the SCH-r100 Stunt to MetroPCS customers. The Stunt is a tri-band CDMA bar-style phone that has entry level features. It includes Bluetooth, speakerphone, messaging, a new carousel-type user interface and access to MetroPCS's web services.

T-Mobile intends to shutter MetroPCS' legacy CDMA network by late June, according to information on the carrier's web site. The company recently said it had three major metro markets — and about 500,000 customers — still using its CDMA network.

MetroPCS Intros $30 Unlimited Plan With a Catch
MetroPCS today announced a new promotion that gives customers unlimited talk, text, and data for $30 per month. Customers can access up to 1GB of data at 4G speeds, but once they reach that limit data speeds are throttled back.
