Verizon Wireless has started updating the HTC Droid Eris in small batches via an over-the-air system update. Some of the fixes include better SMS/MMS compatibility with other devices; improvements to the on-screen mute and speakerphone keys; quicker call ending with two presses of the end key; smoother activation; and several other minor bug fixes. As with the Motorola Droid, the updates will be rolled out slowly over the next week or two.

?

why does it take two button presses to end a call?
I think its so you don't acidentally end the call trying to bring the screen back up.
