Google recently provided an update to its search application for the iPhone. First, Google has redesigned the search results pages, and now can display more results than before. Links from the search results page will now go straight to the browser and open those sites, eliminating a step and speeding up the time it takes to access that information. The Google App for iPhone also now lets users customize more behavioral details of the application, such as colors and the wave form used when performing Voice Search. Last, Google has added support for Australian accents. It also now supports both Mandarin and Japanese. The application is available today and is free.
