Missouri Moves to Ban All Drivers from Texting

Lawmakers in the State of Missouri will be considering legislation early next year that would ban all drivers in the state from sending text messages while operating a motor vehicle. Under current law, only those aged 21 and younger are barred from texting and driving, though there are notable exceptions, such as when the driver needs to report a crime or emergency. State lawmakers now feel that the ban should apply to everyone.
