Verizon Pushes Out OS to BlackBerry Storm

Verizon Wireless has made a significant system update available to the BlackBerry Storm 9530. BlackBerry OS will not be pushed over the air, and users are recommended to download the update through BlackBerry Desktop Manager. The update stabilizes and improves the performance of many of the Storm's systems, including faster camera launch time and faster image capture, as well as improvements to the browser and typing software.

I love the new interactive features and so much faster then the previous software, I love it!

It's so much better! It's like a new phone! No lag! It's very fast and responds to everything. I love how the text messages are shown.

I think they will be putting out another update within the next day or 2. I just got finished upgrading mine, and I love the new features, very responsive, fast typing.

However, I am having alot of issues with getting programs back on my Storm from...
Smile did the upgrade ande mine works great. it reset itself once and all apps worked fine
it is awesome!! like you said feels like a new phone
Lots of enhancements in 5.0 and it even downloaded well through the Mac Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Very Happy I loooove it. I didn't realize how terrible it was before until now. So fast!!! And the camera doesn't lock on flash forever killing the persons eyes! Faaabulous!
