Bing Finds Its Voice with Voice Search
Today Samsung and Microsoft revealed that the Intrepid Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone will have voice-powered Bing search. Users will be able to press a TellMe button and speak their search queries. The spoken word is translated by Bing and then search results are generated and returned to the handset. Samsung, Microsoft and Sprint did not say if it would be offering voice search on other devices.
Bing for Android Can Better Search Through Other Apps
Microsoft today updated its Bing Search app for Android devices and gave it the ability to perform searches from within other applications. The feature, called Bing snapshots, scouts things mentioned on any given page and provides relevant information about them in snapshots.

Microsoft has updated its Bing search application for the iPhone and added the ability to search for images captured by the camera. The tool, similar to Google Goggles, lets users take a picture and then use the picture to perform a search.

Yahoo Improves Search In Mobile Browsers
Yahoo today said it has refreshed how it displays mobile search results in a way that will help people find what they're looking for quicker. Yahoo explains that rather than offer lists of links, the new search presents results — including images, videos, news, and other details — prominently in a way that's more useful.
