Motorola: MOTOBLUR Will Not Be On All Android Phones
Today during a round-table discussion, Motorola noted that its MOTOBLUR Android skin will not necessarily ship on all of the Android devices made by Motorola. Motorola expects that some operators in some parts of the world will not want to deploy MOTOBLUR, so Motorola will work with those operators to come up with different solutions. For the most part, however, Motorola hopes that MOTOBLUR will ship on the large majority of Motorola's Android devices. That includes across different carriers in the North American market.

Motorola Commits to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Motorola today voiced its support for Android 6.0 Marshmallow in a blog post and outlined some of the changes headed to its devices. First and foremost, Motorola will update the following handsets to Android 6.0 Marshmallow: 2015 Moto X Pure Edition, Style, and Play; 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in US, Latin America, and Europe: Moto G 3rd edition, 2nd edition, and 2nd edition with LTE; Droid Turbo, Moto Maxx, and Moto Turbo; and the Google Nexus 6.
Motorola to Let Others Make Mods for Z Droids
Motorola today showed off the Z Droid and Z Droid Force handsets, which are compatible with magnetic modules that attach to the back. The Z Droid and Z Droid Force will have access to a handful of Moto Mods at launch, but Motorola hopes other companies will make Mods, too.
