T-Mobile: Android 1.6 'Donut' Roll-Out Official

Today T-Mobile confirmed that the rollout of Android 1.6 -- aka, Donut -- to T-Mobile's G1 and myTouch 3G customers is now underway. The over-the-air update will be delivered to all T-Mobile G1 and T-Mobile myTouch 3G customers in the coming days. Android 1.6 brings several new features to the Android platform, including a new version of the Android Market and a re-worked the search function, including the ability to search phone systems such as the browser bookmarks and history, contacts, and the Web from the desktop.
