TiVo App Lands in BlackBerry Apps World
Today TiVo and Research In Motion made a new home DVR scheduler application available for BlackBerries. The TiVo for BlackBerry app lets users browse, search and schedule recordings of TV programs to their TiVo DVR directly from their handsets. It includes the ability to set season passes and more. The application is free, though users are required to register their DVR with TiVo.
Verizon Zero-Rates Its Fios Mobile Video App
Verizon Wireless today said the company's Fios home internet and television customers can stream an unlimited amount of live and recorded shows over LTE without impacting their monthly data allotment. Specifically, Fios customers can use the Fios Mobile app on their smartphones and tablets to watch 140 channels of live television, movies, and stored DVR content.
PayPal Reaches BlackBerry 10 Devices
PayPal has made a version of its mobile application available in the BlackBerry World app store for devices running BlackBerry OS 10.x. With this new app, PayPal is available to Android, BlackBerry, Fire OS, iOS, and Windows smartphones.

Google today updated its main Search application for the iPhone and added a widget for the home screen. Technically, iOS doesn't support true home screen widgets other than those in the notification panel.
