Verizon Lists Samsung Rogue for Sale

Today Verizon Wireless commenced sales of the Samsung Rogue, a new slider touch phone that uses Samsung's TouchWiz user interface and has a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The Rogue has a 3.1-inch AMOLED display, 3 megapixel camera with flash and video capture, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, support for microSD cards up to 16GB and a 3.5mm headset jack. The Rogue has an EVDO Rev. A 3G radio inside, and supports most Verizon services, such as V CAST Music and Video. The Rogue costs $100 after discounts with new agreement.

Picked up this phone last night.

Picked up this phone last night and it is sweeeeeeeeet! This is about as close to an iphone killer as I've seen recently. I refuse to switch from verizon just for an iphone. Something comparable had to come out for VZW at some point. And the time has finally arrived! Very Happy

Will write review once I know the phone in and out.

ummmm....

This really makes me wonder, how long it will be before the omnia 2 drops...
And hopefully Omnia 2 will be less of a garbage that the original Omnia was

WoW, all that for only a $100

Not a bad price at all, and Samsung was even considerate enough to includd a 3.5mm headphond jack, it seems as though handset makers are finally coming around when it comes to
3.5mm headphone jacks, it sure is about time.
This phone is the first of the 'enhanced multimedia devices,' non-PDA phones that will require a monthly data plan ($10-20, or be on a Connect or Premium plan). Still, even with mandatory data plans, it's not a bad deal, just not as good as it looks s...

I would need some hands on with this phone but, looking at specs and pricing, even with Data Mandatory, it seems very tempting to try out. Im not with Big Red but anyone considering joining them, this isnt a bad start.

Tempting... to say the least....
