Opera Prepping Mobile Browser for Android

Opera's CEO Jon von Tetzchner recently said that the company is working on a mobile version of the Opera browser to work on the Android platform. Von Tetzchner wouldn't commit to a release date for the browser.

Qualcomm will make a big push to bring high-speed mmWave 5G to more affordable phones in 2022, according to comments made by CEO Cristiano Amon during a Q&A session at the company's Snapdragon Summit event in Hawaii today. Why...no need

I don't understand why anyone would want opera's browser over the androids web kit browser. It is one of few web browsers out there that actually works like a web browser other than the I-phone. Opera has a great browser for a regular phone, but in my opinion its a downgrade for any android phone...I dont get it.
