TracFone Expands to More States

Today TracFone announced an expansion of its SafeLink Lifeline program into the states of Alabama, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. TracFone's SafeLink service, which offers no-cost or low-cost cellular service to qualifying families, now covers an additional 1.9 million low-income households. Those who qualify will receive a free cell phone, mobile access to emergency services and free 68 minutes of airtime, monthly, for the period of one year.
